A New Year a New You

As you can imagine, our oral health plays a big part in our overall health and seeking orthodontic treatment is often a big step. Straightening your teeth is designed to improve the appearance of your smile and raise your self-esteem, but it will also improve the health of your teeth and gums.

By undergoing orthodontic treatment at any age, you will increase the chances of avoiding tooth decay, gum loss, bone loss and TMJ pain later in life. If this is on your list of resolutions, contact our office and meet with our orthodontist, Dr. Stephanie Steckel. She will be able to give you a personal consultation and discuss the best treatment options for you!

Orthodontic Resolution for 2014

Many of us are working on our resolutions this time of year. If you have resolved to straighten your teeth in 2014, then this blog post is for you!

Dr. Steckel at Orthodontics on Silver lake meets every patient personally and discusses what orthodontics can/cannot do for them. Her experience as a general dentist is unique in this area, and it has helped her achieve consistently great results for her patients. Her 18 years of Dover/Kent County experience as a teacher, volunteer in several civic and Dover Air Force Base events and dental/orthodontic study clubs have been professionally and personally satisfying. Most of all, she is proud of her staff and patients creating life-changing smiles everyday.
